Birmingham Airport Authority to Host Job Fair May 12th
Opportunities Available Across Multiple Airport Employers
BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 11, 2026) – The Birmingham Airport Authority and airport tenants at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) will host a Job Fair tomorrow,= Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Event Room located on the upper level of the terminal near Door 4U.
The airport job fair will feature a variety of positions with the airport and its partnering agencies, including opportunities in retail, food and beverage, operations, skilled trades, public safety, federal agencies, and law enforcement. Available positions include roles such as customer service managers, warehouse runners, restaurant crew members, police officers, customer service representatives, baristas, skilled laborers, maintenance repair workers, and more.
As Birmingham continues to grow as a hub for business, tourism, and major events, expanding the workforce at BHM remains essential to supporting the airport’s mission of delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Job Fair Details:
• Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Location: Event Room, Upper Level of the Terminal near Door 4U (Pre-Security)
• Parking: Please park in the parking deck in the hourly parking section, which is closest to the terminal.
Parking will be validated.
• What to Bring: Two forms of identification with names that match exactly on both IDs. Also, bring
multiple copies of your resume.
•Dress Code: Business attire is recommended, as many employers may conduct interviews and offer on-the-spot hiring opportunities.
