The Finance Department at the Birmingham Airport Authority is responsible for management of the financial and fiscal functions of the Authority. These include accounting, budgeting, payroll, cash flow management, capital financing, and airline rates and charges.

The Finance Department also collects and reports airline passenger activity, landed weight, and aircraft operations.
