With this new service from Southwest, Birmingham travelers will gain more options and access with competitive fares to popular west coast destinations through Denver including San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Seattle. Southwest offers bags fly free® to everyone (first and second checked pieces of luggage), and there are no change fees.

Southwest anticipates travelers will hit the road this fall with a heightened focus on cost. Southwest is pairing value and hospitality to welcome them back, whenever they’re ready to travel. As part of its promise, Southwest is limiting seats sold on each flight through at least October 2020 to allow for middle seats to remain open to allow for physical-distancing onboard the aircraft.
