Enhancing the Customer Experience at BHM

At the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM), we want our passengers to have the best experience from the moment they arrive until they board their flight. Your opinion matters most to us and we want to make sure that during your time at BHM.  Here are a few ways that we are enhancing the passenger experience at our airport and making it more enjoyable at our airport. More enhancements will be coming soon.

Refreshed Seating In The Terminal

We want our travelers to be comfortable while awaiting their flight. We’ve taken the liberty to start refreshing our seating areas to make for a better experience. Passengers can expect that our  seating arrangement will be more plush with a clean, sleek design to add to the level of comfort. More upgrades and new seating will soon be on the way.

Ongoing Construction Projects

To maintain and enhance the safety, comfort and security of our passengers, we have several ongoing construction projects at the airport. From our new ARFF station to rehabilitating and upgrading our runways, we always have our customers in mind while making improvements at BHM.

New Enhancements Within The Restrooms

Throughout the terminal, we’ve replaced our regular paper towel holders to automatic holders in the restrooms. With replacing these holders, passengers can experience a more sustainable way of drying their hands after washing while reducing paper waste. More extensive improvements will be coming as restrooms are often the first place guests visit when arriving at an airport and their last stop before departing.
