BHM to Host Job Fair on August 25


The Birmingham Airport Authority and its tenants at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) will host a job fair to fill many available positions on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Airport’s Event Room on the upper level of the terminal.

The available positions with Airport employers include opportunities from sales ambassadors to maintenance and HVAC technicians, airfield painters and part-time positions with the Transportation Security Administration. The Birmingham Airport Authority is also looking to fill several maintenance and operations positions.

As more travelers are returning to the skies, it is essential to the operations and customer service goals of the Airport to fill these positions. BHM has seen a steady increase in passengers each month strives to  offer world-class customer service to every passenger and patron, which customers have come to expect each time they fly BHM. Nearly all passengers (92%) are fully satisfied with their experience at BHM.

  • Date: Wednesday, August 25, 2021
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Location: Upper Level Airport, Event Room (Near Door 4U – Pre Security)
  • Face coverings/masks are required
  • No advance registration needed
  • Bring a photo ID and multiple resume copies
  • Wear business attire as many employers will interview and hire on the spot
  • Parking validated (park in the Hourly Parking “Yellow Section C “of the Parking Deck – Level 3)
