BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA — Beginning this week, the Birmingham Airport Authority will install recycle centers throughout the airport. The recycle center will consist of three different receptacles. In a continued effort to impact the environment, BHM hopes to appeal to its passengers for participation and partnership.
Al Denson, Executive Director of Birmingham Airport Authority said, "As the first airport in the state to incorporate biodiesel into our airport management plan, it is important to us to be responsible members of the community and do what we can to put Birmingham one step closer to cleaner air and possible ozone attainment in Jefferson and Shelby Counties."
